Unidentified assailants opened fire at a medical store in Chandigarh's Sector 11, critically injuring cashier Janki Das, who later died. Two masked men entered the store and fired multiple rounds before fleeing with a third accomplice waiting outside on a motorcycle.

Police are investigating, collecting CCTV footage, and have set up roadblocks.
