Can landlords enter your rented home without notice? Here's what the law says
According to the Model Tenancy Act of 2021, landlords must provide at least 24 hours notice in writing before entering rented properties. This notice must detail the specific reason and time of entry and can only occur between sunrise and sunset.
While this policy is designed for non-emergency situations such as repairs and inspections, urgent cases like fires are exceptions.
