An FIR has been filed against eight individuals, including a cash-counting in-charge, following allegations of embezzlement of donations at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. A Special Investigation Team's preliminary report to the Chief Minister led to the registration of the case under charges of theft, criminal breach of trust, cheating, and conspiracy.

The trust initiated a probe after financial irregularities surfaced, and police are now investigating the alleged diversion of funds.
