India is introducing Bhu-Aadhaar, a 14-digit Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN), to digitally identify every land parcel. This initiative aims to simplify property verification by creating a standard digital record, making transactions easier for buyers, banks, and government agencies.

Based on geo-referenced coordinates, ULPIN ensures a unique digital identity tied to each plot's exact location, strengthening land administration and potentially reducing disputes.
