Central Alberta municipalities ask locals to stop showering, flushing toilets as rain overwhelms wastewater systems

Residents of Beaumont, Leduc County and St. Albert are urged to cease all non-essential water use and to refrain from showering, flushing toilets and using laundry machines and dishwashers.
This is in order to prevent further flooding and backups in the regions.
