TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee appeared before the Enforcement Directorate in Kolkata for questioning in the alleged cash-for-school-jobs scam. His name featured in charge sheets filed by the CBI and ED as part of the ongoing multi-crore teacher recruitment case probe.

This follows his extensive interrogation by the West Bengal CID on a separate matter.
