An Indian-origin man, Gagandeep Singh, has been sentenced to 34 years in prison in the UK for kidnapping, torturing, and raping a woman. The 34-year-old was convicted of multiple serious offenses after a trial.

He will serve 28 years in custody, followed by an extended license period, and will be deported after completing his sentence.
