FirstCry called user a fraud; court orders Rs 50,000 compensation
A consumer commission ordered FirstCry to pay Rs 50,000 compensation and refund Rs 2,130 with interest. The online retailer cancelled an order without reason, withheld payment, and labelled the customer a fraud user.
The commission found FirstCry's defence contradictory and its actions a deficiency in service and unfair trade practice.
