The Bears have been linked to Cardinals edge rusher Josh Sweat in a proposed three-team trade that would send Cole Kmet to the Panthers and draft picks to Arizona. Chicago hopes to strengthen its pass rush after recording just 35 sacks last season.

Although Josh Sweat posted a career-high 12 sacks in 2025 and remains under a $76 million contract, NFL insider Ian Rapoport has previously said Arizona is not actively shopping him.
