Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike enters day 2 at Jantar Mantar
Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has entered the second day of his indefinite hunger strike at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, joining the Cockroach Janata Party's protest demanding the education minister's resignation over examination irregularities. Allegations of police denying a portable toilet and public facilities lacking water have surfaced.
The agitation, supported by students and farmers, began on June 20, with Wangchuk commencing his fast on Sunday after visiting Rajghat.
