Mumbai's housing makeover: Three huge slum clusters up for redevelopment
Mumbai is set for a massive slum redevelopment drive, following the success of the Juhu Galli project. Three large slum pockets – Antop Hill, Majaswadi, and Behrampada – are slated for transformation.
This initiative aims to provide dignified housing for citizens and create a slum-free city. Meanwhile, Delhi has also approved a new policy to redevelop its JJ clusters through public-private partnerships, extending eligibility to more families.
