ABVP has called for a statewide school bandh in Telangana over concerns related to private school fee hikes, government school infrastructure gaps, vacant teaching posts and delayed uniform distribution. Several schools in Hyderabad announced holidays ahead of the protest.

The organisation has demanded fee regulation laws, stronger monitoring of educational institutions, implementation of NEP-2020 and improvements in government school facilities. Parents have raised concerns about disruptions to classes during the academic year.
