A tragic accident in Solapur's Malshiras tehsil claimed nine lives, including five women and four children, when a pick-up vehicle carrying 15 people veered off the road and plunged into a well near Tandulwadi village. Seven others sustained injuries and were promptly taken to the hospital.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the driver losing control.
