HC tells Uttarakhand govt not to deport Pak Sikhs if they pose no threat
The Uttarakhand High Court has halted the deportation of a Pakistani Sikh family residing in Dehradun on a long-term visa. The court directed the state government not to deport them unless they pose a national security risk.
The family, in India since 2019, challenged a 24-hour departure notice, citing their valid visa and children's education.
