Tension erupted on the Delhi-Haridwar National Highway in Muzaffarnagar as Hindu Raksha Dal members allegedly vandalized and burned signboards at a non-vegetarian eatery. Police arrested three individuals, citing objections to a religious name displayed alongside the chicken outlet.

The incident occurred ahead of the annual kanwar yatra.
