Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray slammed the BJP over alleged Ram Mandir donation irregularities, dubbing them the "Babur Janata Party" and accusing them of exploiting faith for political power. He also alleged the BJP is weakening Shiv Sena to undermine.

Referring to BJP's long-standing slogan, he questioned the party's intentions behind the construction of the Ram temple.
