A 23-year-old pregnant woman tragically died by suicide after her husband reportedly demanded a DNA test for their unborn child. The incident, which occurred in Medak district, led to the arrest of the husband and his mother.

The victim's mother alleged continuous harassment, prompting police to register a case of cruelty and abetment of suicide under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
